Credit card fees at AC

Keep this in mind the next time you use a credit card on Amarillo College’s campus.
AC spends nearly $150,000 on banking fees a year. That’s no chunk change.
The fees are assessed by the banks to the college each time a credit or debit card transaction is made.
The school last week passed its $51 million budget, including a 15 percent increase for credit card fees payments.
